In honor of her one week birthday, Gabrielle awoke at 3:00 am, nursed, then had a diaper change. During the aforementioned diaper change, I was not fast enough with the new diaper and she wet through the burp cloth I had underneath her, the quilt under the burp cloth, the sheets under the quilt, and to the mattress pad. I will not be changing her on the bed anymore. She is doing great, and we are enjoying being a family of 5 very much.

So pretty you won't even remember the mess in a week! :) Wish I could snuggle with her!
Everytime I change the sheets on our bed I am reminded that I should not change a baby on my bed... We had just bought this great new mattress and Victor had a blowout out the back while laying on our new bed... Beautiful yellow stains decorate it now :)
This baby will be on a changing pad (well, maybe, but I guess since the mattress is already ruined maybe not...)
Remember what it was like changing a boy? It doesn't matter where you change the diaper, everything gets wet.
It always seems to happen at 3 in the morning!! She is very cute and sweet. I already miss the cuddle time we used to have with Matthew, hope to see you soon.
