Mommy, I'm going to play and run and be happy then vomit all over myself and the park, OK?
Looking around to make sure no one is watching....
Going for the flip.
Went to the park tonight for a birthday party, had an "incident" while we were there. Bella puked all over herself and the very hard to clean rubberized playground mat. Thought it was just a fluke/cough/maybe she just got dizzy moment (she was in a fabulous mood, did not seem sick at all). I took her to the car and changed her clothes, cleaned her up and she was good as new. We stayed for another hour or so and headed home. Right after we got there she coughed again, gagged a little, and threw up some more. A red alert was sounded throughout the house, children were quickly bathed and put into bed.
I stuck a big bowl next to Bella's bed, demonstrated how to use it, and tucked her in. A little later we heard her cough again so Brian ran in to help, luckily she made it in the bowl. Thank goodness that was it for the night, she doesn't seem quite right today but is doing better. I can handle a lot of things, but the barfing flu makes me want to head for the hills. Pretty sure Brian feels the same way, especially since the last time we had it he wanted to call an ambulance. But that's a different story for a different day...
